Our litters are born at the manor, raised with close attention, and never leave before weeks of careful observation. A Manoir Aurélien Great Dane carries a temperament as noble as its stature — never the other way around.
Two litters a year, never more.
A Great Dane is not a dog you multiply. Every dam at the Manor has her own whelping room, her own overnight watch for the first ten days, and individual follow-up until the last puppy has gone home.
Our breeding dogs live at the manor year-round — never in an outdoor kennel. Zeus, our stud, has shared our living room for eight years; he has never known another home.

Health tested before breeding
Hips, elbows, heart (echocardiogram) and a genetic panel on both parents before any mating. A vital precaution in a giant breed — you receive the actual results, not a summary.
Growth watched, not rushed
A Great Dane grows fast — overfeeding for growth means fragile joints for life. Calculated nutrition, measured exercise and daily handling from day three.
Support for life
We stay reachable — first nights, bloat prevention, feeding, growth. And if you can no longer keep your dog, they come back here. Always.
Fawn, harlequin and blue — and nothing else.
Three coats, chosen for character and known to us for fifteen years. We don't diversify: mastering three lines well beats skimming eight.
Each coat has its own line, its own breeding dogs and its own health record — colour is always a consequence, never the primary goal of our pairings.
From your first question to the ride home.
You write to us
Tell us about your household: space available, experience with large breeds, time spent at home. An adult Great Dane weighs up to 200 lb — we want to know your life has room for such a companion.
You visit the manor
By appointment, even before a litter is born. You meet Zeus and our dams, and see where the puppies grow up. A breeder who won't let you visit is telling you something.
Reservation and matching
A $750 deposit confirms your place. Puppy–family matching happens around week six, based on observed temperament — never on the colour picked from a photo.
Going home at eight weeks
Your Great Dane leaves vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and examined by our veterinarian, with a health record, large-breed puppy food and a blanket that smells like the litter.
A litter is expected this fall.
